Which is More Dangerous, Diesel Fuel or Biofuel?
Recent days, there is a phenomenon which looks the biofuel as an alternative green energy to substitute the using of gasoline and diesel fuel. However, some researchers in US found that the biofuel is more dangerous than gasoline and diesel fuel. Do you believe that?
These researchers found that biofuel from corns causes health and environmental problems than the common fuels. Moreover, the production of biofuel from corns increases the corns price for our consumption rapidly.
By using the computing system developed by US Environmental Protection Agency, it is proved that the environmental and health costs of biofuel using made from corns are 72 cents to USD 1.45 each gallon. Compare with gasoline which uses 71 cents each gallon. Huh!
Seeing this condition, the researchers expect that biofuel production can use organic rubbishes or plants which are not consumed by us. Good idea!
In fact, biofuels and other fuels are able to increase some diseases, such as bronchitis, asthma, and heart disease. The society has to pay the impacts to substitute the high production costs.
In brief, biofuels are able to decrease the production costs, but we have to get the bad impacts.
Biofuel isn’t good like people think. Its better than the Diesel but is not a real solution.
