Until the end of 2008, Apple iPhone is claimed as the sexiest mobile phone in the world because of its multi touch screen. Now, iPhone has a high competitor, called Blackberry Storm. Yup, although Storm doesn’t has the multi touch screen like iPhone, but it has the touch screen which has feedback mechanism like the traditional keys. Therefore, the customers will feel that they press the usual keys, not the virtual ones. So, you will believe this smartphone really understands your order.

This innovation comes from the problem that the traditional touch screen is not so intuitive because the users can not feel feedback from the screen when touching the screen. To cover its weakness, the vendor usually uses sound. Consequently, there is a ‘click’ sound when pressing the screen.

However, sound can not assure the consumers that they really have pressed the virtual keys. By using sound and touch feedback, the Storm is claimed able to defeat the other competitors.

The good feedback mechanism, however, does not support with the screen width. The Storm only has 3.25 inches screen, smaller than iPhone’s. So, the customers may be will not so satisfied to look at the contents.

How about the price? Although the material cost of Storm is more expensive than iPhone, both of them have the same price in US, USD 199,99.
