Fifteen millions new malware types? Can you imagine? Believe or not, Kaspersky has been identified 15 millions new malware types in 2008.What a news! This number increased if we compare with last year. In 2007, there were only 2 millions new malware types.

However, the increasing number of malware types also be followed with great technology of security companies.

In 2008, the cyber crime business was so success and valued up to US$ 100 billions. However, security industry was panic and needed big infestation in this technology.

Kaspersky reported that there are tens of thousands people who work in the cyber crime industry. Therefore, security vendors compete to recruit the best workers because it is rather difficult to find talented software engineers. But, the companies will not recruit people who run the cyber crime because the computer security system development is more complicated than launching cyber attacks.

Meanwhile, MessageLabs, the security service provider also reported that in 2008 the internet sites which contain criminal programs increased till 80 per cent.
