Bored with your notebook battery which only can life a few hours? Hm, don’t worry. Wait for the 40 htechnology which makes your battery can live till 40 hours.  It’s not a joke. This technology  created by Mary Lou Jepsen, the Former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) OLPC.

With his company, pixel Qi,  Jepsen will sell its energy-efficient display for the laptop and e-book in the second half of 2009. The screen is capable of apprehending sunlight directly, and has HDTV quality color mode.

Of course, the customers will get some benefits. You will get a higher quality display. Moreover, you laptop battery is more forceful. As what I stated before, your battery can live till 40 hours.

The development of more efficient technolgy display   is a criticism for mobile devices such as laptop and e-book, which generally needs its screen needs much energy.

Jepsen also said that his company cooperates with some manufacturers of e-book and notebook. The technology he created can improve the durability of batteries till 5-10 times normal battery. Therefore, the battery can survive for 20-40 hours. In brief, this technology is useful. We do not need to recharge the battery every few hours once. A good news, yeah. I can’t wait till next year…..
