Ages rating for internet sites? Well, maybe it’s not  a good idea because TV has been used ages rating also. Based on an interview with Andy Burnham, the Cultural Minister of England, he suggested that it’s time for internet sites to use ages rating. I mean the ages limitation to visit the sites, for example: up to 17 years old, 13 to 17 years old, etc.

To realize this project,  Burnham will negotiate with Barack Obama to arrage an international regulation to the sites which uses English language. In addition,  Burnham will ask the ISPs to provide the secure services to children. One of the ways is by giving the ages limitation to every site.

Burnham thinks that we need a clear standard for online world. Parents also can understand this point of view .

If this regulation has been finished, it will be many pros and cons because the basic principles of the appearance of internet is making a space without government regulation.

However, this new regulation is so proper, especially related to sites content and copy right. Moreover, it can overcome the problem related to insulting people via online.
