American General Election has been Startred

American General Election has been started. Citiziens in two small cities in New Hampshire has begun to elect. General election has been started on Tuesday,   4 November after 00.00 a.m. Even, the election result in  Dixville Notch can be known. Barack Obama is the winner there, he got 15 votes from 21 electors.

This the first time after 1968, Dixville Notch elects Democrat in the Presidential Election.  John McCain, Obama’s rival only got  6 votes although there are only 75 citizens there.

Since 1960, Dixville Notch has been starting the elction after mid night.
Presiden George W. Bush won in this small city last general election. Bush got  73 per cent votes in 2004 (19  people elected Bush, while  6 people elected  John Kerry). In 2000, Bush got  80 per cent votes  (21 votes for  Bush, 5 votes for  Al Gore).

In Hart’s Location, the other small city in New Hampshire, Obama won with getting 17 votes.  McCain, his rival only got  10 votes. The citizens of this city are only 42 people. It is also the first time this city elected president candidate from Democrat. Before, Hart’s Location has been know as  pro-Republic.

IN USA, cities whose the citizens are less than  100 people are permitted to begin the election in the early minutes of Election Day. Then,the others American cities begin the election.
