“Cooking Mama” Game was Censured
Do you like cooking? Maybe, you ever played this game, Cooking Mama. Yup, Cooking Mama is a video game in which players cook virtual delicious cuisine. But, this game got protests from animal lovers. Hm, how come?
An animal lovers group entitled PETA (People for the Ethical of Animals) protested the the newest version of this game which is produced by Majesco Entertainment. Cooking Mama: World Kitchen was launched in the United States. PETA protests it because this game uses too many animals as meat dishes.
PETA says that the developer is not sensitive to see so many animals was killed. As a protest act, PETA made the parody game of Cooking Mama which shows the cutting the sadistic animal when will be cooked. PETA also requested to make the new version of Cooking Mama which uses less meat as food, especially for those who intend to become a vegetarian.
Responding this critic, Majesco rejected all criticism. They also show told that they ofen make a special vegetarian menu in the game.
Cooking Mama is casual games that reached the most successful. The game has been sold till 1.6 million copies in the United States since its launching in 2006.
