Economical recession comes to America. Trade via internet or e-commerce get the impacts too. The small online traders will be lost if the situation doesn’t go well. The new data from internet research company, ComScore Inc showed that online retail selling in America still grows. But, the growth percentage decreases.
Based on ComScore, online retail selling in America in July to September 2008 increased 6 per cent than
last year. However, the increasing number in September was only 5 per cent if we compare with last year’s result. Even, the growth rate in September 2008 was the lowest since ComScore begun to observe selling via internet in 2001.
Andrew Lupsman from ComScore said that online business can not out of danger of economical crisis.
Some e-commerce sectors get impacts worse than other sectors. From ComScore data, the selling of music, video, and film via internet decreased 29 per cent. However, the increasing also happen. For example, the selling of console, video game, and accessories increases till 60 per cent.
