Does the Earth Have a Twin?
Does the earth have a twin? Well, this question want to be answered by NASA. Therefore, this organization will launch a telescope to find planets which similar with our earth. Yup, there are more than 330 planets round stars, but they do not have similar size and location to support life. The telescope is Kepler telescope. It will be launched on 5 March.
After reaching the position which follows earth orbit, it will focus on Lyra dn Sygnus constellations. The Kepler telescope is the biggest telescope which will fly on the earth. It has 95 MP camera. This telescope tries to find out planets similar with the earth that round near their main stars. It likes finding a small mosquito in the bright light. The observation will be done for 3 years.
This telescope will send data from 170,000 targets to the experts on the earth. Then, these data will be analyzed.
Kepler will choose the small parts of 4 millions objects it observes. The experts want to maximize the observing time to get the data as much as they can.
To do this mission, the experts need four transits and more. To verify the result, the experts will use telescopes on the earth.
Its posible, why not??? all the whole thing, and we suppose to be the only ones?
