Getting tired finding your friends? Why don’t you try Belysio? Belysio is a combination of digital navigation applications and the social network. That is why Belysio called “My Social Navigator”.

In detecting the presence of someone, there are six alternative methods used by the Belysio. First, the detection by using Cell ID. Belysio knows how you are connected to the BTS. The level of accuracy is in the range of 500 meters in the city up to a maximum of 5 KM in the rural areas.

The second way is Cell Broadcast. Belysio gets location information from your operator which uses with Google Maps. The accuracy rate decreases slightly compared with Cell ID, but you can see who is around you.

Third, GPS is another alternative.  This method is the most accurate than the others. You can detec within a radius of 20 meters. However, GPS can be used only outside the building.

Fourth, the manual input is the other way. The level of accuracy with the manual is very relative depending on the users input the data.

Last,  Instant Messenger and e-mail are the alternatives. Instant Messenger here which supports the Gtalk and MSN.

In brief, in the modern era, friendship can be still kept. There are some alternatives to still keep in touch with your old friends.
