Join “I’m Linux” Video Contest
As we know, Microsoft and Apple have launched their commercials in TV. Microsoft with “I’m PC” and Apple with “I’m Mac”. How about Linux? Well, making commercials in TV for Linux is hot its style. So? The Linux Foundation has a contest, entitled ‘I’m Linux” Video Contest. Interested?
If you win, you can travel to Japan. In October 2009, you may attend to the Japan Linux Symposium. Linux also will show the video which wins in its Collaboration Summit. It will be held on April 8, 2009 in San Fransisco.

If you are more than 18 years old, you may join this contest. The videos lengths is 60 seconds•Every contestant must obey the terms of service. To get the winner, there will be judges panel. If you win, you can attend the Linux Foundation Japan Symposium in October 2009. You can send your video from The contest opens Jan 26 and will close at midnight pacific on March 15, 2009.
The criteria of judging includes the clarity of message, originality, and the videos are able to inspire other people for using Linux.
In the Linux Foundation site, there will be some people who vote the favorite video.
This program will be launched formally in January.
