The Problems Come with the New Logo of Intel

To help the customers to find the right processor for them, Intel launched a new system to choose the processor. This company classifies the processors based on the ability. It includes a features combinations, such as speed, core, cache and some other technology. Intel uses starts to describe it. So, it means that the more starts a processor has, the better performance it has. The processors are categorized into one star till five stars. For example, Intel Celeron gets a star. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i7 gets five stars.

The use of starts divide notebook and desktop systems into five groups according to their potential ability. In one side, the customers will get a benefit. We are able to compare the performance of each chip without any difficulty. Great!

However, the problem will come in September 2009. Yup, it’s when the star rank system will not exist again. Processor will go down. Therefore, Intel will change the star rank. This change will not be accepted by the sellers. They, maybe, will get difficulty to explain to the customers why three-stars-notebooks for Core 2 Duo changes to be two stars. So confusing, yeah!
