Ubuntu 8.10 Release Candidate Will be Launched

Ubuntu has announced that Ubuntu 8.10 has been launched,  namely Intrepid Ibex. This version contains some new interesting features, such as new kernel module to update fast ways which enable users to change features. It also supports internet connectivity via mobile phone, better than before. Ubuntu also has added some features in pre-launched version of  Ubuntu 8.10.

Intrepid Ibe of first alpha version was released in June and has some planned features. Ubuntu will try to go out from beta version launching because it has some fault. First, there is a weak desktop search integration than others.

Ubuntu 8.10 is also appropriate for Ubuntu server and distributing to other desktops, such as Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Mythbuntu,  and UbuntuStudio. Ubuntu will release  8.10 in the end of this month. Linux Ubuntu  developers said that is stable and ready to use.
